Today I finished work early, so back home I had some time to go through all the random photos I took in the last days and put together a little post with them.
And here it is, a post showing what I did, what I bought and what else happened lately. :)
What I did:
- I made a heart-shaped pizza for Patrick :)
- I started saving up money for future travels (the geisha is my savings box)
- I made a list of books I plan to read until October
(+ I continued reading "The Brief And Wondrous Life Of Oscar Wao" for my oral exam in American literature next week)
What I bought:
Patrick and I went shopping in Essen last Saturday and blew some money because it was payday the day before. I got some really nice bargains!
How I love hitting the sales! My very favourites are the TK Maxx finds: the warm wool cardigan was 17,90€ only, the forest green silk top was the same price and the genuine leather sneakers were 24,90€.
The top is so gorgeous, I simply had to wear it immediately after our shopping spree, so I combined it with black skinnies, my leopard cardigan and some black wedges as an outfit for a friend's birthday party on Saturday night.
(sorry for the poor quality, it was taken with P's mobile phone)
What else happened:
Oh and speaking of outfits: do you remember my outfit post "the slow math of debts and dreams"?
It was super-successful at Chictopia! I received over 200 votes for it - which is more than I've ever gotten anywhere for my outfits - and it even made it to the Chictopia front page, woohoo!
To most of you this might sound ridiculous, but I remember an interview Hello Lyndsey did with me some time ago where I said that one of my goals is to appear on the Chictopia front page one day. ;D
That's it so far. For the next posts you can expect a lovely new outfit with a floral dress and a recipe for fudgy yummy chocolate cake goodness.
Have a nice day! :)
